Hattie Naylor has had over forty plays, three short stories, and an opera broadcast on BBC Radio 4 and/or 3. Her plays include Ivan and The Dogs (nominated for an Olivier Award, and winner of the Tinniswood Award 2010), The Diaries of Samuel Pepys (nominated Best Radio Drama 2012). All welcome.

Carmel Winters’ play Witness will be performed at The Everyman Cork from Tue 10 – Sat 14 March. ‘Witness’ is a spell-binding portrait of a mother and son, whose powerful story will pin you to your seats from start to breathless finish. Post-show discussion with the author on Wed 11 March.

We’re very excited to be hosting two wonderful writers next week at UCC: Smith is the author of four novels, including NW, White Teeth, and On Beauty (Orange Prize 2006 Man Booker Prize shortlist). Laird has published three collections of poems, To a Fault, On Purpose, and Go Giants, and two novels, Utterly Monkey – winner of the Betty Trask Prize – and Glover’s Mistake. All welcome.
