The next event in the School of English reading series will feature three Irish writers who are at the cutting edge of Irish fiction. Mike McCormack, author of Solar Bones – winner of the Bord Gais Book of the Year Award, the 2016 Goldsmiths Prize and just nominated for the inaugural Republic of Consciousness Prize – will read with Claire Louise Bennett, whose 2014 collection, Pond, was widely acclaimed, and Conor O’Callaghan, author of Nothing on Earth, which has been the word-of-mouth literary success of 2016.
The reading is on Tuesday, January 31, at the Creative Zone, Boole Library at 7.30pm.
Admission is free and all are welcome.
